Fossil’s exhibition this year is not all about smartwatches, but smartwatches definitely make up an exciting part of their plans for this year. The Baselworld 2017 Fossil exhibition features over 300 new watch styles, some smartwatches and some not. These new styles feature watches by many of the different brands that Fossil work with – Skagen, Diesel, Misfit, Michael Kors, Armani Exchange, Kate Spade New York, Emporio Armani, Tory Burch, Relic, MICHELE, Marc Jacobs, and DKNY are just some of the brands on display this year.
While the smartwatches on display only make up a small section of their exhibition this year, they do make for the most exciting announcements. There are two types of smartwatch on display from Fossil this year, their hybrid smartwatches and their touchscreen smartwatches. These smartwatches are released under a number of different brands, such as Diesel, Michael Kors, Emporio Armani and, of course, Fossil.
Fossil Hybrid Smartwatches
The Baselworld 2017 Fossil exhibition has some interesting devices called hybrid smartwatches on display. These smartwatches look just like a traditional watch but they show notifications and allow for activity tracking. There are a number of buttons on the side of these devices which can be used for different smart functions.

Fossil Touchscreen Smartwatches
The Baselworld 2017 Fossil exhibition also features new touchscreen smartwatches. These smartwatches make full use of the features available in the new Android Wear 2.0 operating system. These smartwatches can be linked to either iOS or Android smartphones and allow third party apps to be installed from the Play Store.
