James Bond Spectre – The Auction is set to take place from Tuesday the 16th till Tuesday the 23rd of February. Twenty-Four lots featuring all sorts of James Bond Spectre memorabilia is up for grabs – but it won’t come cheap!
How Will James Bond Spectre – The Auction Work?
There will be two parts to the auction – fourteen lots will be available in the online only auction which takes place from the 16th to the 23rd of February. Anyone will be able to bid in this auction by visiting christies.com/spectreonline between those dates.
On Tuesday the 18th of February there will be an invitation-only live auction which will take place at Christie’s King Street. This live auction will offer a further ten lots of Spectre memorabilia. If you are not lucky enough to receive an invite you can still access the auction online and on the phone.
What Can You Buy at James Bond Spectre – The Auction
The auction will feature all sorts of different pieces of James Bond memorabilia direct from the James Bond Spectre movie. There will be full costumes worn by Daniel Craig, Christoph Waltz and Stephanie Sigman in the movie. One of these costumes, a two-piece dinner suit worn by Daniel Craig as James Bond, is expected to fetch between £20,000 and £30,000.
The biggest lot in the auction is the Aston Martin DB10, which is one of the Aston Martin range of cars exclusively engineered for James Bond. This is one of only two of these cars which were kept back as show cars and they weren’t modified to be used in the filming of James Bond Spectre. The car is expected to fetch between £1,000,000 and £1,500,000 at the auction.
Watches Up For Grabs at James Bond Spectre – The Auction
As this is a watch website, you can forgive us for focusing on the wrist watches available at the auction. Firstly, a Rado D-Star automatic chronograph which is worn by Dave Bautista in his role as Mr Hinx in the movie. The watch is expected to realise £4,000 to £6,000 at the auction.
Secondly, a Longines Conquest Heritage 18-carat rose gold automatic worn by Ralph Fiennes in his role as M, which is expected to fetch £5,000 to £7,000.
Finally, there are two Omega Seamaster 300 watches on sale. One of these has been donated by Jasper Christensen and is expected to realise £7,000 to £9,000. The second Seamaster 300 was worn by Daniel Craig in James Bond Spectre and is estimated to fetch £ 15,000 to £20,000.
