Getting a real Swiss experience towards the FC Barcelona team are having Maurice Lacroix build a custom-designed studio within the FC Barcelona facilities where each player gets to custom build his watch. Based on the Pontos S Extreme, the Barcelona stars get to choose their preferred case using the anodization properties of the Powerlite case—an alloy made from aluminum, zirconium, magnesium, titanium and ceramic which is also very light and scratch resistant. Additionally, they get the chance to personalize the dial colour and strap utilizing a huge variety of options. To personalize it a step further, each watch comes with an engraved plaque along its 43 mm case back. This collaboration produced 24 Maurice Lacroix watches, each personalized for every FC Barcelona player and housing the automated movement ML112.
Because the “Unique Players” collection isn’t available to buy, Maurice Lacroix presents four models for fans from the club: the Eliros Date, Eliros Chronographe, Pontos S and also the Masterpiece Squelette. The dial on each one of the models reflects the club’s colours and it is decorated using the FC Barcelona crest.
